Blockchain penny stocks are all over the map this morning to close out the work week. Cannabis has taken over as the booming industry this year, but smaller-cap blockchain companies are still fighting to stand out from the rest.

Investors are constantly evaluating these smaller cap companies to see which blockchain penny stock has the potential to take off. Not all blockchain stocks have dropped significantly since the fall of cryptocurrency in early 2018. Seven Stars Cloud Group (NASDAQ:SSC) has only dropped just slightly, year-to-date.

Let’s take a closer look at two blockchain penny stocks and their latest movements.

Seven Stars Cloud Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:SSC)

Seven Stars Cloud Group or ‘Ideanomics’ is the leader among the blockchain penny stocks. The blockchain-based fintech company is based out of Beijing, China. Yesterday, Ideanomics announced an agreement with Liberty Biopharma (TSXV:LTY). The transaction will deliver asset digitization for green, cleantech, medical, and healthcare industries.
