Calyx shares surged by 100% following news that subsidiary Canada Blockchain Hosting Corp. has completed the installation its first cryptocurrency mining and blockchain data validation operation in Kamloops, B.C. This is the second phase of the company’s blockchain business integration plan. The next phase will be the installation of a 1,000 square foot data center.

  1. Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSX-V:MRS)

Mission Ready went up by 20.4% on Thursday as the company received an order for 140 of its plate carriers and soft armor (collectively, a unit) from the Tunisian Armed Forces. The company is also actively working toward securing intellectual property for its AMBER (advanced multipurpose base ensemble for emergency responders) technology.

  1. Radient Technologies Inc. (TSX-V:RTI)

Radient Technologies jumped by 21% as the company appointed Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB) founder and CEO Terry Booth to its board. Radient views this appointment as a significant addition that will help the company reach its potential in the global cannabis market since Mr. Booth already has a very successful track record at Aurora. Aurora’s shares also went up by 18.5% today.

  1. Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (TSX-V:RHT)

Reliq Health went up 15% today as the company reached a milestone of 4,000 subscribers for its iUGO Care digital health platform. Importantly, the company anticipates that it will break even in December 2017, setting the company up for profitability in 2018.

  1. Block One Capital Inc. (TSX-V:BLOK)

Block One Capital has signed a deal to acquire 90% of TG12 Ventures Inc., a private company engaged in cryptocurrency mining, for $2.3 million. Based on the current pricing for bitcoin and the number of miners operable, the estimated revenue per year for TG12 is US$7.8-million. Shares of Block One Capital increased by 28.6% on Thursday.
