On Tuesday, Newstrike’s wholly owned subsidiary and licensed producer, Up Cannabis Inc., received site plan approval from the town of Lincoln, Ontario, for its automated greenhouse facility in the Niagara region. This would double the size of the facility and consequently its production of high-quality dried cannabis to 24,500 kilograms per year. Shares of Newstrike went up by 36.6% to $2.95 as of market close.

  1. Urbanimmersive Inc. (TSX-V:UI)

Urbanimmersive shares soared by 125% on Tuesday to $0.27 a share following announcement that the company has converted its former 3-D imaging servers used for image rendering into Ethereum mining operations. Urbanimmersive is also integrating the blockchain technology within its real estate content marketing platform, joining a growing list of companies around the world to leverage the potentially revolutionary technology.

  1. The Hydropothecary Corp. (TSX-V:THCX)

The company recently boosted its public offering of units at $4 each to $130 million, following up on its decision last week to accelerate the expiry of approximately 6.47 million warrants with an exercise price of $2. The stock recently pulled back from a high of $4.76 to its current price of $4.21.

  1. Altiplano Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V:APN)

Altiplano Minerals went up by 29.3% to $0.53 on Tuesday as the company released impressive sampling results from its Farellon mine in La Serena, Chile, which included as high as 5.58% copper. These results are higher than the company’s early estimates from historical work.

  1. Radient Technologies Inc. (TSX-V:RTI)

Radient Technologies jumped by 15.9% following acquisition of land surrounding the 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Edmonton operated by the company. The facility is located near the Aurora Sky facility owned by Aurora Cannabis Inc. and is fully GMP compliant with a pending ACMPR license expected later this year. The company is also planning to acquire two additional adjacent parcels of land.
