Aurelius Minerals is a gold exploration company headquartered in Vancouver, BC. The company was formerly known as Galena International Resources Ltd but changed its name back in January of 2017. 

This morning, Aurelius announced the assay results from the three additional holes dug from its completed 17-hole Phase two drilling program at its Mikwam Property. 

“We have encountered a very consistent gold zone at Mikwam and are very encouraged about the potential moving forward,” said Jeremy Niemi, P.Geo., Vice President, Exploration. “We have successfully achieved our goals to gain an understanding of the controls on the gold mineralization and to expand the volume of mineralized rock. We are well positioned for the next round of work at the project to continue to grow the Mikwam Gold Zone and locate new gold zones on our Property.”

The company’s announcement has pushed the mining penny stock to the top traded stock by volume on the TSXV today, by a large amount. The current volume for the day exceeds $19.5 million CAD. 

According to Yahoo Finance, this mining penny stock is currently trading at $0.065 a share, up +$0.030 (+85.71%).

Mining Penny Stocks: Prize Mining Corporation (TSXV:PRZ)

Prize Mining Corporation is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, and works as a mineral exploration company, specifically focused on gold deposits. Prize Mining is among the top trading mining penny stocks on the TSXV today by its total volume traded.

Yesterday, the company announced that it had retained Link Media, LLC to provide further communications and market awareness services for its companies. The company will be building upon Prize’s current profile for existing and potential shareholders. 

“We are currently drilling at two highly prospective properties in Mexico and British Columbia and the retention of Link Media to assist in communicating our story to the US market is part of our overall strategy to build the profile of our company,” said Mike McPhie, President and CEO of Prize Mining.

According to Yahoo Finance, the mining penny stock is currently trading at $0.12 a share, up $0.02 (+20.00%).
