GoodGamer

Fantasy gaming and Esports technology company Good Gamer Corp. announced the official launch of its GoodGamer Fantasy Gaming App, India’s first daily fantasy sports and true Esports gaming platform. The GoodGamer Fantasy app is a skills-based platform that allows users to enter daily fantasy contests to win real prize money.

According to the release, the GoodGamer app will launch with cricket, which kicks off September 19 and has 900 million fans in India, and the wildly popular Esports game CS:GO. The company also plans to add Football (Soccer), Dota 2, Valorant, Indian Rummy, and a quiz game before year end.

The GoodGamer Fantasy gaming app is the first fantasy gaming app to offer prop fantasy contests, an AI-based lineup optimizer, player injury reports and alerts, and private contests where the contest creators can earn a commission for creating and managing the contests.

“India and Cricket represent an incredible opportunity for GoodGamer. With a cricket fan base reaching 900 million users, the return of franchise cricket on Disney + Hotstar is the perfect place and time for launching our app,” said GoodGamer CEO Charles Creighton. “Our app is also primed to gain access to India’s 350 million mobile gamers with CS:GO and our future launch of Valorant, Dota 2 and Freefire.”

Good Gamer Signs Agreements with Disney+ Hotstar; Two International Bowlers

The launch of this new gaming app provides Good Gamer with access to the $150 billion fantasy sports betting market in India and the company is primed to corner the market after signing an advertising agreement with Disney+ Hotstar, India’s largest premium streaming platform with over 8 million subscribers.

Hotstar is the official live streaming platform for all premium sports in India and the official live streaming platform for IPL 2020. As per the agreement, Good Gamer will be present as an advertiser on the biggest T20 League tournament, with the competition set to kick off when defending champions Mumbai Indians take on Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi on September 19.

According to the advertising agreement, Disney+ Hotstar will also serve 70 million impressions in the form of branded cards and video ads across its platform.

Good Gamer also revealed Friday that it has signed international bowlers Kuldeep Yadav and Umesh Yadav as its brand influencers to mark the return of cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav plays for the national team, as well as multiple domestic franchise teams, including Uttar Pradesh and Kolkata Knight Riders, and boasts 500,000 Facebook followers, 1.8 million on Instagram, and 1.2 million on Twitter. Umesh Yadav is an Indian cricketer with 10 years of professional experience playing for multiple domestic, T20 league, and national cricket teams. He was the highest wicket-taker for India in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup and has 5.1 million Facebook followers, 1.7 million on Instagram and 2.5 million on Twitter.

Good Gamer Corp. may be located in Canada, but the company has a direct line to India through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Good Gamer India Private Limited. The company, which is located in Bangalore, India, is used to manage operations, marketing, and customer service and is led by former Vancouverite Ravi Nagarajachar, VP of Operations.

“Having lived in Vancouver, Canada, and now back in my native Bangalore, it’s exciting for me to be working with the team at GoodGamer to bring this app to Indian sports and Esports fans,” Ravi Nagarajachar said. “We’ve developed a fantastic relationship with leading Esports tournament organizers and marketing groups such as Skyesports of Chennai, one of the top Esports tournament organizers and casters in India. Skyesports will be leveraging their million+ followers, influencer contacts, and its 50 million users reach on Youtube to give us that rocket fuel for our launch here.”

Good Gamer is offering a deposit bonus for every deposit a player makes to enter a DFS contest. Players can also earn additional money by signing up for the Refer-a-Friend program, which allows a user to earn up to 100 cash bonus for each referral and a 5% cash bonus if that friend deposits up to 1000 cash bonus. The more friends someone refers to play in a real money contest, the larger the bonus they receive. Users can register after they download the app on GoodGamer.in.
