There is no doubt that the cannabis market is a hotbed of activity right now. Recreational cannabis legalization in Canada is on the horizon, and investors are consistently searching for the next big thing. Somewhere in the cannabis penny stocks market, they might just find it.
Cannabis brands have always tended to be venturous, and today’s cannabis penny stocks news from American Green Inc. proves it. Is it launching a new strain of marijuana? No, not quite, rather, it is launching a motion picture company.
Lights, camera, action!
Cannabis Penny Stocks: American Green
American Green, Inc. (OTC:ERBB) recently announced that it entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form American Green Films, LLC. The company wants to utilize its character-full desert town of Nipton and produce commercial motion pictures, with the eerie town as the setting.
But why a film company? What has this got to do with cannabis really?
Well, according to American Green CEO David Gwyther, the answer could be to simply diversify the company and increase “shareholder value” by making big profits from relatively low-budget movies.
The CEO stated further:
“American Green intends to maximize the potential uses of Nipton, along with the adjacent Mojave National Preserve, the New York Mountains and the entire Ivanpah Valley to make great films that will add to Nipton’s growing revenue base.”
The company will be created with renowned director Vito Trabucco at the helm. Trabucco has, according to Gwyther, “successfully produced and directed multiple films that sell well in foreign markets.”

Is Nipton a Money Maker?
It seems the company could be banking on the potential of the land it recently purchased in 2017—the desert town of Nipton. A town which has been used before by filmmakers. Trabucco states:
“The video game, Fallout: New Vegas1 utilized both Nipton and nearby Searchlight, Nevada as locations and a general store and motel among other buildings in its fictionalized version of Nipton. We own the real motel, trading post, and scary abandoned buildings featured in the game, and we intend to use them to make the best movies possible.”
Will this be a successful venture for American Green? It’s different anyway. Today, the company stocks are staying steady:
Well, cannabis penny stocks never fail to be interesting; an American Green film company! Did you see it coming?
