Nutritional High & NeutriSci International – Enters Agreement for Cannabis-Infused Products

Canadian cannabis company Nutritional High (CSE:EAT) announced on Wednesday that it had entered into an agreement to develop, produce and deliver cannabis-infused products with the Alberta-based drug manufacturing company NeutriSci International (TSX:NU).

Both companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the production of tablets that have been infused with cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which will be made using “NeutriSci’s patent-pending technology, proprietary ingredients, and formulations.”

The tablets will be manufactured by Nutritional High at its Sacramento, California and Green Therapeutics  LLC facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada, and be distributed in states in the US where cannabis-infused products are permitted for sale.

According to Nutritional High, the tablets are said to be fast-dissolving “and will offer a measured dose of pure THC or CBD oil, combined with the powerful bio-availability & antioxidant properties of pterostilbene.”

The tablets will also be flavored and will contain zero sugar and are estimated to be ready for sale and delivery sometime in the third quarter of 2018.

Nutritional High CEO Jim Frazier has said that they “are excited to work with NeutriSci to develop and launch proprietary THC and CBD infused sublingual tablets.”

According to the CEO of NeutriSci International, Glen Rehman, the agreement between the two companies “represents a significant milestone in the cannabinoid industry.”

Frazier also added that “NeutriSci’s formulations combined with [Nutritional High’s] oil should make for a very effective cannabis energy product.”

Shares of Nutritional High rose by 5.49% on Wednesday and closed at a share value of $0.48 after opening at $0.46.

On Thursday, shares of Nutritional High fell by approximately 3.12% and closed at a value of approximately $0.47, after opening at $0.48.

NeutriSci shares grew by approximately 44% on Wednesday and closed at a share value of $0.13 after opening at $0.09.

Shares of the company only grew by nearly 7.7% on Thursday and closed at $0.14 after opening at $0.13.
