What the Enthusiast, GameCo and Luminosity Merger Will Mean for LiteLink Technologies

LiteLink

All eyes were focused on the Esports and gaming industry Friday morning after Aquilini GameCo announced that it is merging with Enthusiast Gaming Holdings (TSX.V:EGLX) (OTCQB:EGHIF) and Luminosity to form the leading publicly traded Esports and gaming organization.

This deal is massive for Enthusiast Gaming, increasing its assets and reach to include seven Esports teams, including management of the Vancouver Titans Overwatch League franchise, and 40 Esports influencers and giving the company access to new sponsors through GameCo’s relationship with the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena.

This deal is also big for LiteLink Technologies Inc. (CSE:LLT) (OTC:LLNKF) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, uBUCK Technologies SEZC, which just signed a deal with Enthusiast to become the official payment sponsor of the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX), the largest video gaming expo in Canada.

As part of the sponsorship, uBUCK will facilitate the transfer of the prize funds to the winners of the tournament. The Streambucks app offers users the ability to purchase products with a debit card, transfer funds and make donations to their favorite gamers and streamers.

EGLX hosted 55,000 attendees last year in Toronto and is expected to exceed 100,000 at this year’s tournament in October.

LiteLink is launching the closed beta for its Streambucks platform, a digital payment solution targeted to the Esports and gaming industry and has already signed strategic deals to help Streambucks reach its target market.

Now, the Enthusiast, Luminosity, and GameCo merger, which will boast a reach of 200,000 million across seven Esports teams (including management of the Vancouver Titans Overwatch League franchise), 40 Esports influencers, over 80 gaming media websites, and 900+ YouTube and Twitch channels, will give LiteLink access to an even bigger network of Esports gamers and fans.

It will be very exciting to see how LiteLink will work with this newly formed leading Esports and gaming organization to provide digital payment solutions to the ever-growing Esports industry.
