Application Software

Companies that develop Application Software create programmes or tools that run on computers and devices.

More commonly known as either just ‘Apps’ or ‘Software’, these programmes run on a range of devices from laptop computers to smartphones to highly complex industrial machines.

The software is intended to perform specific tasks on a system—an everyday example is Microsoft Word or Excel.

The Application Software sector has no limitations. Companies here are developing all sorts of programmes for use in a multitude of devices and areas. Examples of businesses in this field include mCloud and Telaria.
