CloudMD Software & Savings Inc. (CSE:DOC) (OTCPK:PHGRF) – Company Profile
Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, CloudMD Software & Savings (CSE:DOC) (OTCPK:PHGRF), previously known as Premier Health Group, is digitizing the delivery of healthcare by providing patients access to all points of their care from their phone, tablet or desktop computer. By developing an innovative healthcare platform, CloudMD is putting power back in the hands of patients.
The company offers Software-as-a-Service health technology solutions to medical clinics across Canada. Its proprietary technology delivers quality healthcare by combining connected primary care clinics, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence.
CloudMD Software & Savings currently has a combined network of 315 clinics with more than 3,000 licensed practitioners and nearly 3 million registered patients. Through its direct to consumer telemedicine app—and by leveraging the latest developments in technologies, like 5G—the company is focused on getting the 5 million patients in British Columbia access to the care they need.
Healthcare Systems Have Problems, CloudMD Has Solutions
Between 1997 and 2017, the cost of health care for Canadian families rose almost 70%. As if that wasn’t troubling enough, approximately 15% of Canadians aged 12 or older don’t have a primary care physician, while nearly two-thirds of seniors are unable to get a same- or next-day appointment.
To top it off, 7 in 10 Canadians report that they avoid seeing a doctor when they are sick. This is because they want to avoid paying exorbitant bills.
Making matters worse, there is a shortage of primary care doctors and nurses in the Canadian healthcare space. This shortage leads to clinician burn out and makes patients feel frustrated by long wait times.
Newly licensed doctors are now avoiding primary care because of this, which increases the pressure on an already stressed system.
That’s where CloudMD Software & Savings comes in.
With CloudMD Software & Savings, doctors can see their patients from anywhere in the world. The company’s telemedical app also allows doctors to chat with or consult clinical staff, pharmacists, other doctors, specialists, or their patient’s charts.
This not only simplifies and expediates a doctor’s workload while increasing access to healthcare, but it also helps maximize a clinic’s income.
In addition, patients can book appointments from anywhere at any time. The app lets them review their charts or labs in real-time, reorder their subscriptions, and talk to physicians and medical practitioners without having to visit a hospital.
