NRG Metals, Inc. Release Updates on Salar Escondido Drilling Project

NRG Metals, Inc. (OTC:$NRGMF) has released new updates regarding its Salar Escondido Drilling project in Catamarca Province, Argentina.

NRG Metals Inc, in particular, is an exploration stage company specializing on the advancement of lithium brine projects in Argentina. In addition to the Salar Escondido lithium project, the Company is evaluating the 3,287-hectare Hombre Muerto North lithium project in the province of Salta. Currently, the company is reviewing the exploration program as outlined in the N143-101 report that was filed on Sedar on October 16, 2017.

As of Tuesday, October 17th, AGV Falcon Drilling SRL, has completed 69 meters of drilling on the first drill hole of the Salar Escondido project. The hole has now passed through the aquifer zone, which is semi-resistive and defined as sand and gravel with brackish to freshwater. The target zone is approximately 70 meters further down.

The Salar Escondido is a large basin, of around 20 by 50 kilometers in size. NRG’s technical teams speculated at a large salar with an area of at least 700 m2 developed in the basin. Specifically, the basin is believed to have formed around two million years ago.

Further updates on the Salar project are expected in the immediate future.
