Universal mCloud Corp Company Profile

Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with technology and operations centers in San Francisco, CA and Bristol, PA, Universal mCloud Corp (TSXV:MCLD) (OTCQB:MCLDF) is the leading provider of AI-powered asset management solutions that combine IoT, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and analytics.

Using AI and analytics from some of the most advanced, demanding industries on the planet, the company is creating a more efficient future and tackling the world’s most challenging energy problems by curbing energy waste, maximizing power production and getting the most out of critical energy infrastructure.

Through its AssetCare™ platform, mCloud connects assets in four segments including smart buildings, wind energy, power utilities, and oil and gas. mCloud is changing the way energy assets are managed, with over 100 blue chip customers and more than 28,000 assets in thousands of locations worldwide.

Tackling the World’s Most Challenging Energy Problems

According to the US Department of Energy, approximately 30% of the energy consumed by commercial buildings goes to waste, equating to a loss of $57 billion USD in economic value every year. Through the use of AI and analytics, Universal mCloud reduces peak demand in buildings by up to 20%.

The company is also working to reduce the cost of wind energy, which can cost $48,000 USD just to produce 1 megawatt. mCloud is also working on improving profitability per MW by up to 30%.

What’s more, Universal mCloud’s technology will maximize the lifespan of energy infrastructure by helping maintainers get ahead of problems before they become too expensive to fix.

New Industry Leading Energy Saving Technology

Universal mCloud recently announced its plan to launch new industry-leading energy savings technology for its Smart Buildings segment through mCloud’s flagship AssetCare™ platform. This technology, which will use proprietary AI capabilities, is targeted to reduce wasted energy in commercial buildings by up to 20%.

These new AI features will analyze numerous data sources like space temperatures, outdoor weather, expected occupancy, and HVAC unit efficiency to continuously pinpoint where a commercial building’s energy is being wasted. AssetCare™ will then be able to make decisions about how to best respond moment-to-moment to changing comfort conditions in a building, improving comfort while simultaneously curbing unnecessary energy use.

In advance of a global launch, mCloud plans to invite select customers to be part of an early access program enabling the use of these features in Q2 2019.

Universal mCloud’s AssetCare™ clients include some of the world’s best-known brands like Bank of America, Starbucks, Dairy Queen, Telus, and Cinemark.

The company’s growth is unlimited, with more than 10 million connectable assets within mCloud’s reach.
